I'm trying to set up a web of pages using a frames format. I understand
making a frame BUT how do I save it? I'm trying to do a contents frame with
buttons on the left and the info page on the right. I know with a normal
page the opening page is always "index" but I can't seem to understand
naming the frames so it will show up on the web. I've had my frames pages
show up on my site but it's by accident and I don't understand. I've read
the help but I just don't get it.
Does someone have an easy way of explaining this?
Thanks,
Larry

if I understand you right just save your frame set as index.htm and you'll
be good to go. the index page is the one that gets served (usually) by the
server, so if your frame gets served first and contains the menu and the
default content you've done it.

If the frameset page is going to be you home page, then it would be save as
index.htm or whatever name is required by host.

The pages the load within the individual frames, can be named anything your
want. However make sure that file and folder names do not have spaces or
other special characters.

You may try this as a test - create a new Frames page - then add some info
in the pages - save and name them;
index1.html
index2.html
index3.html

Then open each one until you know which one is the page that opens the
others and re-name it; index.html
Your site looks good but you may want to re-edit your site;
http://www.wesmereoaks.com which has a few too many graphics for dial up
and the font is larger than most sites. This very large font is here;
<font color="#808000" size="7">Survey Results Are Now Posted!!<br>
