how do i save aN ACCESS database as MDE

i want to save an access database as MDE so that users cannot view or modify
the source code . what do i do?

1. Make sure your database is fully compiled.

2. Make sure your database is in the file format that corresponds to the
version of Access you're using. For example, if you're using Access
2002, your database must be in the Access 2002 file format, not the
Access 2000 file format.

3. Make sure you have a copy of the database in MDB format. Don't lose
this copy!

4. Click Tools -> Database Utilities... -> Make MDE File... If that
option is grayed out, then go back and check that you've done steps 1
and 2.
