How do I save a Powerpoint Presentation as a PPT file?

I need to send a powerpoint document to spain they can only open a ppt not a
pptx, can someone help please? I'm on Vista operating system.

Save As and in the box "Save as type" choose PowerPoint 97-2003 *.ppt

Note -Some things may not work correctly and file size will increase.
