I copied a paragraph I wanted to save from a Forum I belong to. I was able
to paste it into a new page I'd opened... But for the life of me, I cannot
find a a SAVE or SAVE AS... function anywhere - no matter how many 'buttons'
I open and look in.
Please Help!

In addition to the keystroke Graham offered:

In Word 2003 or prior: File> Save [or] Save As
In Word 2007: Office (Pizza) Button> Save

The Save button icon looks like a 3.5" Floppy Disk located on the Standard
Toolbar prior to 2007. In 2007 it's on the Quick Access Toolbar but looks
about the same.

If none of this is available in your copy of Word you need to furnish more
specific details to get it resolved.

Press Ctrl+S. If this is the first save, you'll see the Save As dialog box.
Ctrl+S is used in many applications, in addition to Word, to save the
current document. It actually harks back to DOS.

Well it sure took you long enough to realize that!:-)

Sorry Stefan, IIRC I had just been visiting Graham's site researching some
info on filters. Combine that with the default addled state of a decrepit
mind & you can easily understand the mishap, I'm sure:>}

Indeed, I've made a similar mistake myself. :-)
