How do I revert back to a previously saved version of a file?

I erased a file to reuse the format of it and accidentally pressed save
instead of save as. In other versions there is a simple command to revert
back to the last saved version, but I can't seem to figure it out on Word 07.
Please help.
 
I can't help the original poster, but if you found this webpage like me because you JUST saved over a word file then don't forget the undo button - mine let me go back 100 steps to undo writing the whole new document that I accidentally saved over the top of the old one:cheers:
