My mailbox was full so I transfered all of my mail to a folder on the hard
drive, and compressed all of the files through Outlook. I have not been able
to retrieve the any of the emails through any means I know of. Any help would
be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hi,

Outlook data is stored in Personal Folder files (*.pst). Outlook uses Personal Folder files to store Information such as messages, contacts, calendar, etc. While .PST files can be password
protected, there is no option to compress them. If you properly moved email from an Exchange Server mailbox to a Personal Folder File (.pst) in Outlook, you should be able to open this
file with the Outlook program.

What happens when you try to open the .PST file you archived the information to? Do you receive an error message? If so, what's the exact error message you receive?
