how do i retrieve an unnamed deleted document

I was working on a paper and I did not save the document I mistakingly
deleted it, is there a way I can get that paper back?
 
If you didn't save it and you have closed the document then no. There would
be nothing to recover. If you haven't closed the document then use CTRL+Z to
backup to the point where you deleted the text.
