I would like to restrict windows messenger on my local network.
Is that something that can be done within windows messenger or is that
something that needs to be done via my router? If it can be accomplished by
using my router what ports would I need to block?
Does having live communication server make this possible or easier?
I am brand new at windows messenger and have always been a little weary of
it's security vulnerabilities, but then again I am basing this on what I have
heard and not actually seen.
Could anyone point me in the right direction of where I might find
information specific to implementing windows messenger in a corporate
environment? I want to role this out to take advantage of the messaging
capability of Windows Sharepoint Server.
Thanks for any help, I have been trying to find this information for the
past 3 days on other sites and have come up blank.
