Click the link I posted and read the article it brings up; the article will
tell you how to replace the file. You shouldn't lose any data, the missing
file is the service provider, not the actual address book.

When I went to the link it indicated that for Win 98 SE ... I should go to
"start, find and rename the file Wab32.dll"
I did that and it could not be found. Please help, Tks, Marty
Be sure to set the search tool to look in system folders and hidden files
and folders. If you still can't find it, it may, indeed, be missing; if it
is missing, try proceeding with the re-install and skip the rename part of
the article.

When I did the search I could not find system folders so I tried C:/ and
found it in there.
The MS article you provided to rename and reinstall refers Outlook Express.
My problem is in Outlook2000(Windows 98 SE)...does this matter?
Please advise and thanks for your patience.
Best regards, Marty
I did the name change to Wab32.old then i went to do the "reinstallind
outlook express using the original release of windows 98" article.
Only got to line 3 ... Windows setup...In components I could not find
Microsoft Outlook Express. It is not even in any of the details.
What do you suggest?
Instead of going to Windows Setup, look for Microsoft Internet Explorer on
the Install/uninstall tab. If there, select it, click "Add/Remove", select
Repair Internet Explorer, and click OK.

Sorry about this ... I guess I have complicated problems...I really
appreciate your help.
I went to the Install/uninstall tab found two Microsoft Internet Explorerhe
with different numbers. The only option I got after clicking add/remove was
"This program uninstals and restores to your nprevious configuration." (no
"repair" option)
I selected OK and got an "error tring to uninstall this patch"
PS. I also found two outlook express in here and I got the same error when
I clicked the add/remove.
