I ran an update for Business contact manager and it erased all of the
contacts I had in both the Business Contact and Account contact. I tried to
restore the system but it would not do so. Help!!!

Look for the Outlook BCM 2003 database files -
Data in BCM 2003 is stored in the MSDE as *.ldf and *.mdf files .The default
location is C:\Doc & Settings\<user profile>\Local Settings\Application
data\Microsoft\BCM
So your DB is whatever you named it, extension *.mdf

If you can't find any of these files, and you didn't do a backup or an
export of that DB, you may need to start over with whatever you used to
create it in the first place.
<Note this information is not the same for BCM on Outlook 2007, the beta>

It's running in an instance called MSSQL$MICROSOFTSMLBIZ on MSDE 2000.

Do not panic. Your data is probably still there.

Please describe exactly what you were doing and at what point the data
became unavailable. Please mention exact version of each product to simplify
this process.
