How do I resize the window in Explorer?

When I view pages in Explorer, like Yahoo, and Ebay, I frequently have to
scroll left to right to see the whole page.

How do I change a setting so that I can view a whole page without having to
scroll back and forth?

I know this will sound stupid, but I bought a larger monitor when I set up
my computer because I thought everything would fit better on the screen - but
I still have the same problem.

Could you please email me the answer at davidleclair at comcast dot net. I'm
not sure I'll be able to figure out how to get back to this site.

Thanks,

Dave

Hello Dave,
When I view pages in Explorer, like Yahoo, and Ebay, I frequently have to
scroll left to right to see the whole page.

This is a website specific problem, occuring when a page is coded to occupy
more than 800 pixel width. For historic reasons many websites fortunatly
support 800px, although a big ratio slightly exceeds this width. The 800px
support is still important nowadays, because not all users want to be forced
to maximize their browser window or want to levarage today's screen
resolutions by displaying more than one browser window simultaneously.

IE remebers its current window size when it is closed. So open only one IE
instance, resize it and close it afterwards.

I have also implemented a quick resize function in my toolbar.

Viktor

feature.
