How do I resize a background graphic in PPT 2007?

Hello,

I'm trying to resize a background graphic. I used to be able to do it in
ppt. 2003 via the Master's slide, but now it won't let me select it in ppt.
2007. I saved it so that the ppt. maintained 2003 compatibility if that
matters at all...
