How do I rename a table in Acess 2007?

There does not appear to be any way of renaming a table in Access 2007, other
than by copying and pasting it.

I find the on-line help for office 2007 very poor as compared with its
predecessors.

Thanks

Right click on the table name and choose Rename (and you're right, I
couldn't find anything in the Help file on renaming tables although
it's probably in there somewhere).

Try right-clicking on the tablename and selecting Rename.

I believe that will work. I don't work very much will 2007 and right now it
is not installed at my current location.

Thanks for you replies.

Unfortunately, right clicking on the table name does not produce any context
menu on my version of Access 2007 Pro. It used to work in Access 2003 and
its predecessors. In a similar manner, if I wish to delete a table, right
clicking does not work. I find I have to click on the delete icon on the
ribbon. Has anyone else had similar problems?

Hi everbody
I have now discovered how to do it.

You have to select
Access Options ->
Ribbon and Toolbar Options->
Allow Default Shortcut menus

This facilitates the right click context menus.

Thanks for all your help.
