Hi,

Open the page you want to print

To change how a Web page looks when it prints

1. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
2. In the Header and Footer boxes, specify the information to be printed by
using the following variables. Variables can be combined with text (for
example, Page &p of &P)
3. By default for footer it's "&u&b&d" (which means web address, right
align, short date)

To print this

Type this
============================================================================
============
Window title

&w
Page address (URL)

&u
Date in short format (as specified by Regional and Language Options in
Control Panel) &d
Date in long format (as specified by Regional and Language Options in
Control Panel) &D
Time in the format specified by Regional and Language Options in Control
Panel &t
Time in 24-hour format

&T
Current page number

&p
Total number of pages

&P
Right-aligned text (following &b)

&b
Centered text (between &b&b)

&b&b
A single ampersand (&)

&&

4. To remove the web address just type "&b&d" (withdout quotes), so that
only the date will be printed right-aligned.
5. Click Ok to accept the changed made.
6. On the File menu, click Print preview to preview the page and see if
you can still see the web address.
7. Press "Esc" key or close button to close the page.
8. On the File menu, click Print to print.

Hope this helps ...... :)

I think what you want to do is to make a web link appear
as a web address. To say it a different way: You want to
de-link the address - to change it from blue to blank on
the screen and on the resultant printed page.
In MS Word, for example:
*Hilight the link (carefully, or you'll link)
*Click Insert
*Click Hyperlink
*Click Remove Link button
I'm sure Word Perfect has a similar facility.

'blank' should be black

I believe what the poor girl is asking is how to remove
the url that shows on the bottom of a page printed from an
HTML document. In which case I would copy the text to
print and paste it in Word or something similar. If the
formatting of the page in question is important then
follow Ashokan Acharis' advice, which to paraphrase the
following, Click File, Click Page Setup, click in the
field marked Footer with the characters &u&b&d and delete
the characters.
