How do I remove the task pad from view in calendar

When viewing my calendar, I can see additonal months on the right as well as
the task pad. I want to remove the task pad from view - how do I do that?

Doesn't clicking View and unchecking "Taskpad" work?

Brian's reply works for 2003. It would be veery nice if you posted your
version!!!!!

If you have an older version, go to the edge of the taskpad and push it off
the screen with your mouse. The cursor will change when you get to the
"edge".
