I unwittingly set my computer up as the Administrator for a network. When I
log in to Windows, it now has me log in through "ADMINSTRATOR" instead of
selecting one of the icons that used to open Windows. There are no other
computers that I personally connected but some other unspecified computers
have shown up. I would like to remove this network and return my computer to
the original settings I had when I first loaded Windows XP. How would I go
about doing this?

Hi,

Sounds more like you just disabled the Welcome screen, and now you are
forced to use the older style logon. GO to the Control Panel/Users, click on
"change the way users log on and off", then reenable the Welcome screen.
