How do I remove files that are corrupt?

I had trouble doing a disk cleanup and used the start,
run, %temp% to remove files then disk cleanup worked.
However, I still have some files left in the temp folder
that claim they are being used by other programs and they
will not delete. Is this a problem that I should worry
about? If so, how do I remove those files?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

No, this is normal. Files in use (and there are normally some
temp files in use) can't be deleted. If they aren't deleted
automatically when the app using them closes, they'll be deleted
the next time you run disk cleanup.
