I am using powerpoint 2007. How do I remove the text that says "company
logo" in a powerpoint template? I want to insert my own logo instead. I do
not think it is a backgroud image. Have tried right-clicking all over the
slide, restting background etc... I suspect it is a graphic file that has
been inserted. I would like to edit it if I can find it.

Click View > Slide Master. Check to see if the logo is inserted there. Also,
if the company logo is part of the background, you will have to make use of a
graphic editing tool to modify it instead.
