My client's PCs are essentially read-only. They prefer to stop their users writing any documents to hard disk. If I install an .adp file on such a PC then the user can happily use it to read and write data to the SQL Server back-end but when Access is launched they get a message starting
"The Microsoft Access project 'ProjectNameHere' will be opened read-only because one of the following occurred: ..."
Can I get Access not to show this error message: it's very disconcerting for users?
Best wishes,
Tom Kemp
