how do i remove a blocked driver?

i get the "sonic solutions dla blocked...", but i don't hve any sonic
software on my pc. i tried to install the vista patch from the sonic site,
but it can't find installed software ('cause there is none!). any help would
be appreciated.

thanks micheal, but the solution you posted was already tried. i was looking
for a solution that would involve removing the troublesome driver as i don't
use any sonic/ roxio software. what i will try is to install a roxio product,
then update the driver and then remove the software from my pc. hopefully
this works.
