how do i reinstall microsoft word

i have done something to my computer and cannot use word. please help!

Ninety percent of the time, reinstalling Word will *not* fix whatever is
wrong. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm for
procedures to find and fix the problem.

I would take two approaches:
1: Clean your computer of adware. Download, install, update
and scan with Ad-aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com
2: Rather than re-install, choose Detect & Repair from the
Help drop down menu. Have your CD ready.

You can download the latest version of Office for free from
http://www.openoffice.org.
