I have two computers, both have windows xp, both are ntfs.
On the older one, I want to run all my old games, but most
of them require dos. I've searched and searched and no one
seems to know how to reformat XP from ntfs to fat32. Can
anyone help me?

Boot with the XP cd follow the prompts and when it ask if you want to
format, format in fat32.

You can also use a Windows 98 or ME system boot disk. Boot with the floppy
and choose type fdisk then press enter. Make sure you change to the drive
you want to reformat using correct option. Use option 3 to remove non-DOS
partition. Once this is done, use Option 1 to create a DOS partition. (Use
as much or as little of the drive for your new partition as you want as all
other can be created in an extended partition for more drive letters). Once
you follow through to the end, you will have to reboot. Keep the floppy
disk in the drive while rebooting. When the computer boots to the A:>\
prompt again type Format X: where X is the drive letter to format. If you
want to make the drive bootable place a space then /s behind the : . This
will remove the NTFS partition and create a FAT 32 partitioned drive that
you can install Win 95, 98 or ME onto.
