How do I record a narration of Presenter View notes on Monitor 2

I created a presentation, and a full set of presenter notes for each slide. I
am running the presentation on Monitor 1, and Presenter View on monitor 2.
All this works fine.

Now, I want to record a narration, using the presenter view notes. But when
I click the Record Narration button to start the process, monitor 2 does NOT
show the presenter view anymore. Short of printing out a hard copy of the
notes, is there a work around? Seems there should be, so you could record
with the convenience of the on-screen notes on the second monitor. Thanks!!

There is a difference between being in the edit view and show view. One is
for showing the presentation, the other for editing it including recording
narations. :-)

Thanks, Austin. But with all due respect, when I click "Record Narration" it
automatically jumps into ful presentation mode,m and the presenbter notes on
monitor 2 disappear. Maybe I didn't make that clear.

Gottcha, do you not see your notes on the primary monitor? I do and can
increase the size of the pane to read them. Not certain what your
missing...

Again, I very much appreciate your time. I have reversed the monitorts, but
it does not seem to matter. Let me try oncxe more, step-by-step:
I am set up to show the presentation on the primary monitor. There is no
narration recorded yet. When I click "Start Slide Show From Beginning" (on
the ribbon) it works fine. I get the presentation full screen on Minitor 1,
and I get "Presenter View" on monitor 2, complete with big arrowws, pointer
controls, and the notes in a vertical panel on the right. No problem.

But, here's the same scenario, but I try to record:
The primary monitor is showi9ng "normal view." There are some notes under
slide, but not easy to read. I then clide Slide Show - Record Narration.
After I set the mcrophone leveel, I click OK. I am now in full screen
reording mode, but the Presenter view on monitor 2 immediately disappears. So
I can't read the notes while recording. I must be missing something simple.
Again, any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Harry
