I am doing everything frontpage tells me to do to embed a video to my
website, but it is not putting the video out there. I am saving as a mpeg
file

the first thing you should do is convert the mpeg to a wmv, useing windows
movie maker, then make sure you have the windows media player plugin for
front page.

Jeff or anyone...I figured out the plug in part on frontpage and i can hear
my video but i can't see it. I never did figure out how to convert it to a
wmv file.

Stefan

thank you for ur reply. you've been most helpful a couple of times.

the process ended up being easier than i thought. all i did was add my
video to my wwwroot directory then i made the hyperlink to that location and
it worked splended. i'm quite pleased how the site came out. i'll be
working for the next week or so fine tuning and making SE submittals.
tks again very much
