How do I put a notifacation icon in the taskbar in Outlook 2002?

I am trying to be able to get reminders from Outlook 2002 to pop up on my
desktop like they do in Palme Desktop like when I have an apointment or a
task due. Does anyone know how, or even if I can do this? Thanks

Outlook has reminders already - do they not work when you set up
appointments or tasks? Remember, Outlook has to be running at the time....
 
It does, but I want it to do it like palm desktop does, where there is always
an icon in the taskbar and you can get reminder notifacations even when the
program isn't open. Thanks

Sorry, not possible, certainly not natively. Palm Desktop can't do anything
unless some component of it is running, either.
 
Oh I thought there was a way to minimize Outlook in the taskbar so I could
recieve notifacations. Thanks for your help!
