How do I properly use FAST?

The boss got a new HDD on his laptop, so I did a full backup, then used FAST
for everything (being doubly safe). New HDD is installed. Now .... at what
point do I run FAST to put everything on the new HDD? Once I have a
bare-bones OS? An OS that is as patched as the original? How about apps?

Once you have evrything installed he had before and you have created his
user account. Run it as his user account. Works better if you use the same
source as well (run it from the Windows XP CD on the old and the new
system.)
