I am using Outlook 2003. I am creating a database of addresses for my company
and now I am trying to do a mass mail to all of them for an opening and I
cannot get them to convert so that I can put them on labels. I am sure this
is simple but I am having alot of trouble.

OK well I must be a little slow, I have read the files and when I try to mail
merge the item in my word document either doesn't transfer or looks like
jibberish. It states something about unicode, and I am not able to print any
sort of label. Any thing you can do for me Russ would be great. Try to keep
it as simple as possible, as you see computers are not my forte

Might be best if we start out with your providing the precise steps you are
using and the versions of both Word and Outlook you are using.

ok russ, first I am using Outlook 2003. I am trying to "merge mail" I am
unable to complete this process. I go into the merge mail file. I select
setup, and I pick mailing list. after that I go into setup and designate the
size of my envelope. The information stays blank and I am unable to get
anything to transfer. I have tried browing to find my list but it doens't
show up. I have checked both of the items listed in the help file that you
sent me earlier. I have been able to convert my contacts over to an access
and an excel file, but I am unable to convert it to a word file and to get it
to print labels. once again I re-iterate that I am very computer unsavvy and
the easier you can make this the better. Thank you so much for your help and
sorry I am taking so much of your time

We'll need more detail than that. List the exact steps you are using.
What do you mean by a "merge mail file." If you are using Outlook, there
is no other files needed. Your Outlook Contacts contain your merge data.
Are you sure you read and followed the steps here?

I ran across your problem with printing labels. I found a program designed
to work with Outlook that eliminates all of these steps. It is called
Aladdins - Envelopes & Labels 6 which you can try for 30-days for free. The
web link is:
http://www.software-solutions.co.nz/index.htm

I don't work for this company but I think Microsoft should buy up their
company and incorporate this feature into Outlook.
