I agree that it is better to print a report, but it should be possible to
print a form. Make sure the controls are set to be visible on the printed
page (format properties). Note how many pages there are, and compare that to
the number you expect. It could be that you are viewing the first page only,
and that for some reason (a page break?) there is only a line on the first
page. Are the controls bound or unbound? If they are bound, go back to an
earlier form and look at print preview. If the controls show up, you might
just need to save the record before you can view it.
I recommend saving the form as a report (File > Save As). Simulating a
piece of paper on the screen is rarely the optimum way of displaying and
working with data. I think it best to design forms for on-screen viewing and
reports for display on paper. Also, with reports you have sorting and
grouping options that you will come to appreciate.

source, bound and unbound controls, and a brief description of what you need
to do with this database.
