How do I prevent Outlook from auto-formating the phone numbers from say,
+41 (321)12345-67890 to simply 1234567890?

Russ Valentine said:You can't. Masking of phone numbers is hard coded. All you can do is turn
off the option to automatically add the country code to local numbers.

George said:My undestanding is that a simple comma in front of the number may be a
very
handy alternative?! " ,1234567890 " I did try it and it does work. Thanks.

Russ Valentine said:Right, but the extra characters needed to prevent the masking still alter
the numbers in such a way that users still can't do what they need when
synchronizing with other data sources such as cell phones.
