How Do I Prevent Links from disappearing or changing in my games

I create large games and when I play them with my students in class - the
links sometimes disappear and/or change, even after I fix them. Is there
someway I can make sure they will ALWAYS work? I don't know anything about
creating templates - would that prevent this problem? I tried saving them
as PPS and that seemed to play better than playing it as a PPT. I create
these at home on an external drive that I carry back and forth to school and
play it on another computer and sometimes even edit it on another computer.

Powerpoint has a small storage for hyperlinks, if you create a lot of
hyperlinks some will be lost or will link to another place. See here:
