How do I prevent FP2002 from displaying multiple shared borders?

I use FP2002 with W2K. I notice that after have I save an edited page this
code </td></tr></table></body>
magically appears just above </body>

The page appears normal, but when I refresh the page or publish to the web,
the shared right borders displays at the bottom - just above the shared
bottom border.

When I open the page in FP, and look in the html view, I can see the code
for the border. The only thing I have found is to manually remove the code
and publish the page again.

I want to know what causes the problem. It is making being a webmaster and
real drag.

Make sure that you have all the patches and services packs for FP 2002.
There was a known issue that would cause shared borders to duplicate,
usually during publish. This was corrected in a patch. With luck, this will
solve your problem.

Hope this helps,

Is there a service pack for W2000? All the ones I see are for XP.

Will upgrading to FP2003 solve these anoying problem?

Upgrading to FP2003 will not solve the problem. You need to run Office Updates to update your copy
of FP2002 (must have the FP2002 CD)

Usually caused by your main page or shared border pages having broken table
- correct them

If have check the tables on the pages that are misbehaving and have checked
the tables in the shared borders. But the problem presists. I have
downloaded all the updates regarding FP2002 that seemed appropriate. But the
problem still presists.

Should I just reinstall the program and updates?

Can you provide a URL to the page with this issue?

The URL is www.discovercircuits.com, but I have spent hours correcting the
error and I don't believe any pages are left.

I have created a new web on my computer and have imported the files and
folders. The error, so far is not repeating. At some point I will upload
pages from this web.

Thanks for all your help.
