I need to create a PPT chart using x-axis for BAR CHARTS and y-axis for
multiple Lines .. I see the custom chart type that allows you to create 1
line using y-axis and bar charts using X .. I need two lines, I also see the
chart type to do two lines, against different axis ... can't figure out how
to plot two lines to y-axis .. any ideas ?

I am unsure what this means: I need to create a PPT chart using x-axis for
BAR CHARTS and y-axis for multiple Lines

A Bar chart uses the vertical (y) axis) for categories while Column and Line
charts use the horizontal (x) axis.

You can make a Line chart with, say, four data series. Now right click on
any one of the data series on the chart and select the item Chart Type. This
allows you to make one (or more) of the data series into Column Charts.
There is no need to use the combo chart gallery to do this.

Hope this helps; please return if more detail needed
best wishes

Bernard, yes you are correct I need lines to go against second Y , Bars
against primary Y, figured all that out , using what you sent .. leaves just
one more question .. how can I do it using 3D bars ? any manual way ?

In general, I don't think it's possible to combine a 2D line with a 3D
column chart. It's one of the limitations when using a 3D chart. Another
"limitation" is that many people regard the unnecessary third dimension as
chart junk.
