PowerPoint allows you to play a sound clip through the whole
presentation. If you are using PowerPoint 2007, do the following:
1. Open the presentation you created, and locate the slide you want to
insert music to.
2. Click "Insert" tab, find the sound icon on the right most of the
ribbon menu. Locate the sound clips that you want to insert. Click OK.
3. A dialog will be prompted to ask you if would like to start the
sound when the slide is shown, click "Automatically". Now the sound is
inserted, and it will be played when the current slide is played.

If you want the sound be played through multiple slides, do the
following:
1. Click "Animations" tab, click "Custom Animation" in the Animations
group.
2. Find the sound clip on the animation list, which is shown on the
right part of the PowerPoint window. Double click it.
3. On the Play sound dialog, choose "After" under "Stop playing".
Enter the number of slides you want this sound to be played.
4. Click Sound settings tab, enable "Hide sound icon during slide
show", Click OK.
