How do I play a sound file(.wav) at a certain time during a slide with an animated gif?

Hello,

I am making a PowerPoint presentation in which I have a slide with an
animated gif. I would like a .wav file to play at a certain time, but
I cannot figure out how to do this. Please help.

Here's the PowerPoint I am working on. It is for a Public Speaking
class in which I am commemorating the Greatest NBA Players. I would
like to play a thunder.wav when Kobe dunks in the first slide. Also,
anyway to embed these video files into the PPT file, instead of having
to have the video files in a directory?
