When I cut and paste from my Access 2003 db to an Excel spreadsheet, the
field labels are also pasted. What am I doing wrong? Is there an Access
setting or option I have set by accident? If not, any suggestions how can I
stop this happening?
Thanks

Ralph,

I am linked to a remote SQL server without any problems. Did you apply the
service pack to Office2007? It solved a lot of problems I was having when I
first installed Office2007.

God Bless,

That is just the way it works. If you want to export a table or query from
Access to an Excel sheet without the field names, you can use the
TransferSpreadsheet Action (for macros) or Method (VBA) and use False for the
Has Field Names argument.
