how do I parse a movie file?

I am trying to split a movie file into parts so that I can E-Mail them
overseas. Anyone know how to do this?

Do you really have to email it? It's much better practice to set up a web
site and put the file on that. Then email just a link to the file so they
can download it at their convenience. It need not be a public web site and
if you are worried about copyright or other people gaining access you could
always encrypt the file.

If you wish you can choose any binart news group that allwos you to
post.

Break the movie into chunks using any number of software pacakges and
post it a chunk at a time.

Master splitter is one tool.
Look for file splitter joiner via Google.

If using OE it's on the Advanced tab of the Properties for the mail account you'll be using (Tools - Accounts).

Is the reciever expecting this. If they use a dialup they will get about 10 meg an hour. This means a short film could take 20 days to download,
