How do I tell Windows 2000 Professional to allow incoming
connections to a specific port (4747)? I've been able to
find directions for Windows XP, but they don't seem to
apply to 2k Pro. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a firewall? Typically all ports are open by default unless you
are using a firewall of some type.

What direction are you referring to - for ICF firewall?? There is no built
in firewall on Windows 2000. --- Steve

Windows 2000 doesn't have a built-in firewall, and ports are normally
open unless you closed them. If you need incoming connections and
don't have them, check the firewall you installed.
