how do I open an attachment in office online

I'm afraid you've come to the wrong forum - this one is for questions about
MS Access in particular, the database product that is part of the Office
suite. If you have a question about Office itself, you should ask over in
that forum.

Myabe because you're asking in the wrong place - as I said, this is a forum
for questions about Microsoft Access - if you're asking about how to open
an attachment from within VBA code inside Access, you might find someone
who can help you, but that's what you'd better say. Otherwise, I return to
my earlier point - ask in the relevant newsgroup.

I've got to suggest that you give some more detail about what you'r trying
to do as well - what sort of attachment is it? What do you mean by "online"?
etc etc. The answers won't make much sense to me, but may to the people who
frequent the Office newsgroups. I don't know what the link is, or I'd post
that so you could just go there - sorry...
