How do I open a .eml email attachment?

I keep getting email attachments from a friend that have a .eml file
extension. I most cases, I'm unable to read these files. Comments and
suggestions please.

Normally associated with Outlook Express. If you use that mail program,
try a right click on the saved attachment|OPEN WITH|CHOOSE PROGRAM|OUTLOOK
EXPRESS.
