How do I merge my contacts list with my boss's contact list on HI.

How do I merge MY contact list with my boss's contact list on HIS laptop? I
exported my list to a .pst file, sent it to his laptop attached to an e-mail,
then tried to merge the two lists. Didn't work. I did the procedure in
reverse and managed to merge HIS list with MY contacts on my desktop and it
worked fine. I'm stumped.

Does anyone know the secret?
