Hi.

My company specializes in reproducing digital photos on canvas. To have
picture quality, the photos must have a specific minimum size in Mega Pixels
i.e., 40 X 40 pictures must come from digital photos having a minimum of 4
M-Pixels. How can I measure the picture size of the uploaded file to make
sure it has the size requirements?

Also, how can I display them in a thumbnail and display it in actual size in
another window?

4 m-pixel images are going to take foooorrrrreeeevvvvveeeerrr
to download and display in a browser.

You really need to consider using an image editing application
to convert them to jpg images.

The free IrfanView from www.irfanview.com will do this for you.

It will also give you the other information you need.

fwiw, if converted to jpg images with quality set to 100 percent,
I would be willing to bet you won't be able to see any difference in
quality.

You will need to locate a 3rd Party application that allows you control over the uploads.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

If on a Windows server see if your host supports ASPJpeg
(which allows image property checking and manipulation or resolution)

| Thank you all for your assistance. It is appreciated.

Just as a thought to consider...Most ISP have limits as to the file size they
will allow to your email. Ours will not download any attachments over 2MB.
It may not be an issue, but you may want to check on it.
