How do I mark an appointment "kept"?

Ok . . . I meant that the appointment was :kept:, how else do you say it? I
wnet to the appointment, met who I was supposed to meet and handled whatever
needed to be handled. However, my calendar keeps "reminding me" that I have
an appointment that is 4 or 6 or however many days overdue. Once I have kept
a scheduled appointment, how do I let the calendar know that I didn;gt miss
the appointment?

This is ridiculous, nothing you said even remotely resembles what I'm looking
at. Do youmean to tell me tha this program, in which tasks can be marked as
completed, there is no provision to mark appointments as completed, and you
have to, instead, turn off the reminder (in some way that I will now have to
figure out on my own?)

Dismiss the reminder. If that doesn't help, open the appointment and remove
the reminder and restart outlook using the /cleanreminder switch.
See http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/switches.htm for help with
switches.

On the dialog that brings up the remind there is a dismiss button. Click it.
That does the same as clicking completed in a Task.

If you clicked it and its not working - the reminder keeps coming back when
restart outlook, then something is wrong with your reminders and you need to
fix them.

If you need it marked completed, use Tasks instead as appointments are
completed once they have ended.

If you really want to X out days as they end, see
http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2008/20080520.htm and
