How do I make the 1st row in Excel the header row?

I have exported my address book from Outlook Express to a .csv delimited
file. It converts the data to Excel but does not designate the 1st row as
the "header" row. I cannot figure out how to designate the first row as the
header row, so I am unable to import the data where I need it to go. The new
database requires a header row. Is there anything I can do? Thank you.

Hi SheriJo,

If you're importing the data into Access, you can import it from the CSV
file without going through Excel. In the Access Import Text Wizard,
there's a checkbox (on about the second page) where you can specify
whether the first row of the file contains field names.

There's a similar checkbox in the Spreadsheet Import Wizard for when
you're importing from Excel.

If you're not using Microsoft Access, you've asked in the wrong place.
