hello, can someone please help me?

when I power up my pc, it asks to press the f1 key to start loading, then
the motherboard window comes up and it takes forever, then the windows xp
window does the same and finally the desktop comes up also taking
forever....the startup is empty....what can i do?

Try going to google or similar search engine, type:BootVis Locate the
microsoft
boot,start up enhancer.Once downloaded,open,select,trace,optimize system,
let it restart computer, back on xp,it self restarts in about .30
seconds,refiguring
the boot files.

First of all, do you always press F1 to process further. If so, is there some
message appear on the screen stating "cmos checksum....." somthing like this.
If so then you must replace your CMOS battery.

Further, how much time the POST screen (motherboard screen) takes? If takes
more than 30 to 40 seconds then i think BIOS settings are not too good. But
before I tell you about how to change them, there will be no you changing
BIOS setting until you replace your CMOS battery as they will again reset to
default settings.

About Windows XP, does your meet minimum hardware requirements or what is
your PC configuration.

Let us know, so we can proceed further.
