how do i make monthly view the default for my calendar?

I don't want my calendar to show days of the week - just the full month. How
do I make that the default ? Thanks.
 
Click on the Month view icon.

Where is that? Are you talking about the one under VIEW? I saw that one, but
wanted it to be the default view. I think it's the version of Outlook i
have. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, use the Month view option under the View menu. If you leave this as
your default view, it will open to that view when you click on the calendar
icon.
