How do I make appointments fall only on weekdays?

I am setting up a recurring event for the 15th and 30th, but when the date
falls on a weekend, I want it to show on the previous weekday. In our
previous email program, it allowed us to do that. In Outlook 2007, I also
have to set up two separate events - one for the 15th and one for the 30th.
In our previous program I could set one for both. Any information would be
appreciated.

Outlook doesn't understand events that fall on weekends should be moved -
you'll need to make exceptions on your own (drag to the correct date). And
you'll need 2 - one for the 15th and one for the 30th.
