How do I make all appointments prior to a specific date confidenti

I changed jobs and want to make all appointments prior to a specific date
confidential. I do not want to run 2 calendars although I know it would be
more secure. Can anyone help?
 
Export your calendar to Excel. Locate the Private column and change it
through Excel replacement. Then import it back to your Outlook.
