how do I make a number NOT round

ARRGHHH !!!!

I can't figure this out,I am such a dork!

I am entering mileage and I need it to show xxx.x
I don't want it to round.

It is going to be such an obovious thing, I know.

Maybe it's still too early, after my New Years Eve
celebrations.

The Data Type of your mileage field is likely a Long Integer which does not
allow decimals. In the table's design view, change the Data Type of the
field to Double or Single.
