Hi Everyone,

Today, I downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer for Windows
98, IE6 SP1. I am going to back this up on CD, in case I ever reformat
my hard drive, or in case I ever need to re-install it later.

I found a Microsoft web page listing critical updates for IE6 here...

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/default.mspx

However, how do I know which Critical updates I need to download ? I
just want to download what I need, and burn it to CD along with the IE6
SP1 setup files. That way, If I ever reformat or just need the files, I
will have them backed up.

Scanning my computer at the standard windows update site won't help, as
I already have IE6 installed on my comptuer with all available critical
updates.

There are quite a few updates listed at the link above, I hope I don't
need to download them all.

I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Thanks for your help.
John
