Oh...to add to the first posting:
About a month ago the computer stopped loading windows and went to an error
screen saying that my processor was not the right speed...that I should go
into the BIOS and correct the speed....
As far as I know I have a P4 1.7 and it's pretty much brand new but I didn't
install it myself therefore I have no way of knowing (visually speaking).
Is there a program that I can run to find out if it has been overclocked?
The BIOS shows it as 1.7 but I am not sure if it is an auto thing or if it
was inserted manually by the tech who built the computer.
Any thoughts?
